Once I think of another idea to teach my students how shading works I’ll change it. This lesson is always easy and satisfying to do. The organic shapes of the blobs make it almost impossible to mess up. Its up to the artist to imagine how the blobs are shaped like and how the light wraps around the blobs. You CAN mess it up but, since we are using pencil first. I would catch their mistake before they start using ink.
Half of the class was used to draw the car. It was a double class and they didn’t have enough time to finish the car.
