3 ways to get better at any language

Are you struggling to learn a language?

Ever wonder how some people can pick up a language and you can’t?

Today, we’ll be talking about how we improve our language skills so fast, you’ll be amazed at the results.

This post is for both our students and other students wanting to learn a language. just not English but ANY language!

Tip 1 – Read anything

Grab anything in the language you want to be better at. It can be a book, a newspaper, a flyer, or even a crossword puzzle. Next thing, go through each word and find out what each word means. If you know the word already, you can skip it. If you don’t know, look it up and see the meaning.

Keep doing this every day for however long you want, and I guarantee you success!

Tip 2 – Talk

Pretty simple right? Not as easy as you might think. Find someone who wants to talk to you in that language you want to get better at. You don’t have to make it a class. It’s just a way of learning and getting used to speaking in that language. Most of us are afraid to speak in that language because we’re afraid of what the other person thinks.

Start off with a Teacher or a close friend. After that, you can practice on people you’re not so close with. Finally, you can talk to complete strangers. Pretty scary right? Yes, it is, but it’ll help you tons.

Tip 3 – Write

Now writing is probably the most difficult of the three. You need to worry about grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, structure, and tenses. I would leave this to the end. There’s a bright side though! If you’re shy like me, writing can be a way of expressing yourself without the fear of intimidation of the opposite party. You can take your time and look up words. They can correct your writing after and that might be a bummer, but at least you didn’t have to say anything. :)
